Jon Stewart recently announced the date of his final episode as host of the Daily Show.  The announcement can be viewed here.

Stewart began his announcement saying, “My last Daily Show program will be August the 6th, I will be wearing a suit. I will more than likely be showered.”

The comedy central audience moaned in disappointment at the news.

“Oh, I’m sorry. I’ll be wearing overalls and I won’t shower,” Stewart retorted.

We’ll see what he actually wears come Aug 6th, and you just may be able to see in person. He announced to viewers that  they could enter for a chance to win tickets to his farewell episode. Stewart will be replaced as host of the Daily Show by South African comedian Trevor Noah, but the premiere of that episode has yet to be announced. Hopefully shortly after the 6th.
