A secret wedding in Vegas happened between this beloved '90s sitcom star and a man wanted on charges in Arizona.
A Saved by the Bell cast member just tied the knot in Vegas, getting married to someone wanted on charges in Arizona. And it’s Lark Voorhies, better known as Lisa Turtle during the show’s run from 1989 to 1993.
Voorhies married music engineer boyfriend Jimmy Green in a secret April 30 wedding ceremony in Las Vegas. Photos released indicated that it was definitely not a black-tie event, with Voorhies sporting a floral sundress and her husband wearing a shirt and jeans, according to a Metro.co.uk report.
The couple had been together for a year after meeting on Facebook. They had a “commitment” ceremony a month earlier, and they plan to have a big bash with family and friends sometime next year.
But there are problems in the couple’s life, as Green has a warrant out for his arrest, as he is accused of threatening a shop owner in Tucson, Arizone, when he tried to return a phone. Voorhies, however, said through her publicist that her man is innocent and the charges are false, and in fact Green is trying to make a better life from it and move on from the incident.
Voorhies has stayed out of the spotlight ever since Saved by the Bell finished its run. She even didn’t show up for a cast reunion on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon in February. She, along with Dustin Diamond (aka Screech) who is facing his own legal troubles, were the only ones not to show.
