If you missed Black Friday, don’t fret: Cyber Monday is quickly becoming a popular alternative, especially since it doesn’t require any travel away from home.
And you may not even have to wait until Monday, as many online retailers have started posting their best deals soon after Thanksgiving on their websites.
That means you’ll have to get an early start to take advantage of Cyber Monday this year. On Walmart’s site, the deals begin at 8 p.m. Eastern time on Sunday. Walmart is doing so in order to make it easier on young families who don’t want to be on late at night waiting for the clock to strike midnight, according to a USA Today report.
Cyber Monday is going to be a big shopping day, with roughly half of Millenials expected to make that their shopping day and about 30 percent in the 45-to-54 age group also expected to shop on Monday, based on statistics from the National Retail Federation as reported by USA Today.
Where else beyond Walmart can you find good Cyber Monday deals? Head to Target.com for 15 percent off purchases on Monday, which is the first site-wide discount for the retailer.
Ebay is offering some deals on Monday as well, including a GoPro Hero4 Action Camera for $299.
If you’re into beauty products, Sigma Beauty is slashing 20 percent off everything on its site on Cyber Monday.
Overall, get on early this year to do your shopping, but keep an eye out for deals throughout this month. In the digital age retailers tend to be a lot more flexible, but this Sunday evening and all through Monday may be the best days to get your Christmas shopping done.
