The family of three is about to change forever.
John Krasinski and Emily Blunt have made a major announcement about their family.
Blunt and her husband of five years have officially announced that they are expecting child No. 2, with Hazel just shy of her 2nd birthday, according to a Vogue report.
The couple is notoriously private about family issues, but they have decided to announce the pregnancy to the world. The family didn’t announce Hazel until she was three months old, with Krasinski tweeting a picture saying, “Pics of kids should only come direct from parents. So I’m thrilled to introduce you guys to Hazel!!! #NoKidsPolicy.”
It was the couple’s representative that made the announcement instead of social media this time.
Blunt has been busy throughout her pregnancy and is likely to stay that way for a while, as she is filming “The Girl on the Train” in New York.
The family didn’t say when the baby’s due date was or provide much in the way of details, which is not surprising for the private couple. If anything, they were more forthcoming this time with news of their child’s pregnancy, waiting until the child was born the last time, which happened in February 2014.
Blunt and Krasinski have been married since 2010 and both have very active film careers. Blunt had a big role in the 2006 film The Devil Wears Prada and played an avenging angel in Edge of Tomorrow in 2014. She also played a drug task-force agent in Sicario last year, and will be in The Huntsman: Winter’s War, which is upcoming.
Krasinski, famous for his role on The Office, has a big new movie out called 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi, based on the events of the 2012 terrorist attack in Libya that has been the subject of much political strife in recent years.
