Chrissy Teigen admitted she has been “annoying” husband John Legend by insisting she can compete as a professional Olympian. Although the 30-year-old model hasn’t kept up with the event, she is confident in her ability to compete – and win – in various competitions.

Teigen posted via Twitter: “I like to p**s john off all Olympics by going “I could do that” as he watches and I stare at my phone (sic)”

She then shared: “I feel like I could run really fast if I wanted to (sic)”

Despite her confidence, the model had recently admitted she is unable to swim and is now learning for the sake of her newborn daughter.

Her husband, meanwhile, doesn’t seem to mind her intrusive behavior as he recently admitted to have fallen in love due to her witty and funny remarks.

He said: “I fell in love with her over the phone because she is good with those 140 characters. [At the beginning of our relationship] we were texting a lot, and I started to see her sense of humour. We would talk on the phone, and I started to fall in love with how engaging and witty and funny she is.”

Legend explained how a seemingly simple connection quickly blossomed into marriage and subsequently a new baby.

He continued: And I think that’s when I really started to know that this was the kind of person I wanted to around a lot. Once we started spending more time together between tour stops and all this other stuff, we realised we had such a connection – and then it blossomed into a marriage and a baby.”
