A source revealed how the two got physical after the 'MTV Video Music Awards'
Reports have emerged of Drake and Rihanna finally being “official” following the rapper’s touching confession at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards.
Thanks to the not-so-surprising revelation during the event, which took place at Madison Square Garden in New York this past Sunday, a source has revealed that the two are indeed dating.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, the insider said the stars are “definitely a couple” and admitted to be fully dating.
“No one really knows how long they have been ‘official,’ they just decided to let it become a thing instead of hiding it from everyone. They’re happy.”
During the VMA’s afterparty, the two were said to be inseparable and Drake was hardly able to take his eyes off her.
“They walked in together and never left each other’s side all night. He was so attentive to her. His eyes were never off her. They were necking a lot. They would hug and he would kiss into her neck.”
Rumors of Drake and Rihanna dating had been circling for a while now, and his admission on national TV only helped confirm what fans already suspected.
While presenting her with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, he complimented the Work hitmaker by adding: “She’s someone I’ve been in love with since I was 22 years old. She’s one of my best friends in the world.
The rapper also confessed she is a bit of a role model, sharing: All my adult life, I’ve looked up to her, even though she’s younger than me. She’s a living, breathing legend in our industry, ladies and gentleman, the recipient of the Michael Jackson Vanguard Award for 2016, Rihanna.”
