The 54-year-old star had reportedly kicked her daughter out of the house
It appears that Rosie O’Donnell has reunited with her estranged daughter, Chelsea.
The comedian had reported her daughter missing last year, but she was later found living with her boyfriend and his family in New Jersey. Chelsea had later claimed that her mother had actually kicked her out of her house.
Despite these allegations, the two are now looking forward to a future together and are working on repairing their fragile relationship.
The 54-year-old star added a photo via Instagram alongside her daughter posing with a smile. The accompanying caption read: “chelsea and me – what a difference a year makes #hopelives.(sic)”
Chelsea had previously insisted that Rosie made her leave in August 2015, merely weeks before she turned 18.
She claimed: “She told me to leave and take my dog. Rosie said that I was almost 18, and she got all this c**p from work, and she didn’t want to have to deal with that at home too.
Rosie knew I was planning to leave, that’s why I think she kicked me out.”
The teen says that it all started after Rosie took her computer and phone, kicking her out just a few hours later.
“She asked me to talk about what was going on and I didn’t want to. So she asked for my phone and my computer. I gave them to her. A few hours later, she told me to leave. I wasn’t planning to go until I turned 18 on the 24th.”
Once picked up by the police and returned to Rosie’s home, Chelsea then claimed that Rosie had once again demanded that she leaves.
She added: “She had two of my bags packed with clothes. Literally 10 minutes after the police had dropped me off at the house, I got in a car and went to a friend’s house.”
