The star is slowly coming to terms with the lack of privacy
Ariana Grande admitted she is still trying to get used to everything that comes along with the spotlight. The singer acknowledges that loyal fans want to constantly know every detail about her private life, but says it’s a small price to pay if it means being able to do what she loves.
She told Entertainment Tonight: “I can’t really go anywhere or do anything now without people seeing and knowing.
So, it’s like, I just need to be OK and just be like, ‘Hey, that’s OK. If that’s what comes with me doing what I love and people hearing my music and responding, then that’s OK.'”
The Dangerous Woman hitmaker also says to be happy with rapper Mac Miller, adding: “Every day is super exciting. Just waking up and being like, ‘Hell yeah!’ Do you know what I mean? It’s great.”
She attributes their chemistry to their love of music, admitting that being in the studio makes for a great first date.
“I like random adventures. Going on drives, looking for Pokemon, going to cute movies, making music.”
Likewise, Mac had previously opened up about their relationship, describing it as something that happened naturally.
He shared: “I wrote that love song before I saw her. We’re very good friends first and foremost. We made that song and started becoming close again. It’s very dope and I like how that worked out.”
The star considers Ariana his best friend thanks their shared passion for it, which helped them click without awkward moments.
He continued: “It was great. There was no awkwardness or weirdness, it was how it always was. Just both of us older, more mature and more sure of ourselves. When we first recorded together we were young and figuring it out, which we still are, but now seeing her growth and my growth – it’s great.”
