Blake Lively has now welcomed her second child with actor Ryan Reynolds. The star gave birth to the little one in New York on Friday, although the gender and name are still unknown.

This newest addition now joins the couple’s 22-month-old baby girl, named James. A source made the announcement to E! News online claiming they are “excited,” but refused to disclose more details.

The New York Post’s Page Six column claims that the baby was born at an undisclosed Manhattan hospital and says that Taylor Swift was present as well.

This comes shortly after the actress had complained that being pregnant in New York wasn’t ideal, noting the hot summer weather as a primary reason for her discomfort.

She added: “It should be illegal to be pregnant in New York in July…I swear, I’m going to make my water break just so I can cool down.”

39-year-old Ryan had previously hinted at the possibility of more children, as he admitted to “love to have a big family.”

“We’d love to have a big family. We both come from big families–my parents did four, Blake’s did five. A lot of people say it’s crazy, but we’ll only know when we’re there, you know?”

The Deadpool actor had also claimed that parenting was the best thing that has happened to him. He stated: “There’s nothing on earth more grounding than having a baby. It’s the best thing that could ever happen to someone.”

Her pregnancy never stopped the actress from keeping a busy lifestyle, as she has been featured in three major movies in 2016 alone. These include Café Society, The Shallows, and the upcoming All I See is You.
