Graham: “It's fun looking at people on it”
TV personality Graham Norton revealed he enjoys to “dip in and out” of Tinder because it’s fun. He’s also open to taking it more seriously should the right match come along.
He told the Daily Telegraph newspaper: “I have been on Tinder, I go through phases when I dip in and out. It’s fun looking at people on it, it’s like being on a platform watching a train going by very slowly and you get to see everyone.”
And the star isn’t worried about someone potentially meeting him for his fame and all the wrong reasons. He added: “What’s a wrong reason? Maybe, but you know, people meet somebody for a reason. And anyway, I am Graham Norton.”
He had previously admitted to be “petty” when finding love after he split from ex-boyfrend Andrew Smith.
“You have your own rules as you get older. I would prefer to live alone for the rest of my life rather than live with towels that were folded incorrectly.
Petty is important. That’s why marriages break up. Marriages don’t break up because of big things.”
The TV show host explained the difficulties in finding someone both when being young and older, revealing there’s a certain art about setting standards.
He shared: “The older you get, the less right you have to be fussy and yet the older you get the fussier you become, so oddly when your standards should be dropping you find them getting higher. You see younger friends starting relationships and you know how that story ends. You just sit there and wait for the end.”
Graham was previously in a two-year relationship with software designer Trevor Patterson before splitting in 2013.
