The star calls his wife a "badass" for her dedication
Justin Theroux says he’s perfectly okay with the nickname “Mr. Jennifer Aniston” because of her “badass” personality. As a result, the actor is praising his wife and is honored to be her husband.
He shared with The Sunday Times magazine: “It doesn’t really get under my skin. It’s just one of those things that’s a shorthand for describing who I am.
[Jennifer] is a proper badass. She has lived through a lot of bulls**t. Many people would have crumbled under some of the stresses that have been put on her. I’m very proud of her for that, for the way she handles herself. So in a weird way it’s an honour to stand behind her. Truly, in that sense, she’s amazing.”
After knowing each other for years, the two started dating in 2011 while filming the movie Wanderlust. The star says he would love to work with Jennifer once again due to the fact that they get along so well.
“It’d be more convenient …We could see each other more. Would it be weird? I don’t know. If it was the right thing. Or something I wrote that she would act in. We’re not competitive.”
And Justin has occasionally disapproved of people’s constant interest in the couple’s relationship. He recently praised the Friends actress for her Huffington Post article in which she expressed her frustrations over public speculation.
He added: “She’s similar to me – she doesn’t pay attention to it unless she has to. But there’s definitely times when your privacy is invaded. Areas of your personal life that are yours to discuss among yourselves and your friends and family shouldn’t be a topic for national debate.
She addressed it beautifully in her HuffPost piece. I was very, very proud of her for writing that. It was very well written. She expressed herself beautifully.”
