Nicole Scherzinger says she turned down a film because it required her to appear nude. However, the star would consider removing her clothes only if she could work with Martin Scorsese and insists she shouldn’t need to reveal her body to get a starring role.

She said on The Jonathan Ross Show: “Actually I was going to do a movie and they asked me to get nude and I was like no. I mean unless it’s like for Martin Scorsese or something but no, you don’t need to.”

Speaking of work, the 38-year-old had recently confessed she sacrificed a great deal for a successful career.

“Look at me? I’m not married and I ain’t got no kids yet. I’m still like, ‘Let’s go.’ Of course work has come at a sacrifice. I’ve missed out on life.”

The singer also insists her health is most important. When asked whether she’d consider botox, she replied: “No, I haven’t. I think for me it’s more about taking care of yourself from the inside out. I think health is really important.

It’s about drinking a lot of water and getting a lot of sleep. It’s crazy what hot yoga or going on an amazing run will do. Anybody can always get that stuff done, but for me how I feel inside is a true reflection.”

Overall, the artist feels she’s in a good place despite not having accomplished certain goals just yet.

“I’m at a very good place now. I’m really happy. I don’t feel like there is any wall up or any tension or awkwardness. But that’s what’s so great with time and life and experience. What doesn’t break you or doesn’t kill you really only makes you stronger.

I wasn’t shying away from anything. But I’m not taking any low digs or slaps at my past relationship because that’s just not who I am. Music speaks for itself and it’s open to interpretation for everyone. But everything I sing, I sing it from my piece of truth.”
