The model says her current job may be short-lived
Shanina Shaik has been pretty successful as one of the most recognizable models in the world. Despite her fame, the Australian beauty says her career likely won’t last as she’s more interested in becoming an action movie star.
In fact, she is already making a Hollywood entrance thanks to a cameo appearance in the upcoming Mummy movie.
The star, who joined the likes of Tom Cruise and Russell Crowe, told InStyle: “I’m a real action girl, so I would love to be in action movies. Modelling is not forever, but I will definitely see it as a platform to move into other things, maybe acting and hopefully starting my own brand.”
And acting isn’t her only ambition, as she hopes to launch her own line of skin products with the help of agent Annie Kelly.
“Over the years being in the make-up chair and working with amazing make-up artists … I’ve learned so much,” she stated.
The news comes after she explained the importance of setting and achieving goals, stating that it is a “beautiful thing to dream.” The star already has her eyes on brands like Maybelline and L’Oreal and looks forward to seeing what the next five years will bring.
“I definitely have a lot of goals the next five years or so … working with Maybelline or L’Oreal, a makeup contract would be amazing. I think also manifesting the things you want is really important too, and it brings positive energy into that thing and brings it back to you. It’s a beautiful thing to dream and work hard and then see what happens.”
