The model isn’t afraid to hold back on social media
Model Chrissy Teigen – who is married to music icon John Legend – recently spoke her mind about President-elect Donald Trump after he said the Presidential inauguration will be about “the people” and not celebrities.
She shared via Twitter: “Hi – we are people. You are our president too. I don’t want you to be, but you are. Also we ALL know you are dying without the approval, dear.
But have fun with DJ Buttcrack spinning the hot s**t and Lil Banana dropping bars at your inauguration.”
Her controversial comments led to one user defending the new President, accusing her husband of having “no talent.”
He wrote in capital letters: “AT LEAST WE WON’T BE ALL SUBJECTED TO YOUR NO TALENT ILLITERATE HUSBAND.”
However, Chrissy was evidently not about to back down from a verbal argument. She was quick to correct the troll by pointing out her husband had attended the same university Trump did.
The model tweeted to the user, referring to the University of Pennsylvania: “John went to the same university as the Donald, silly billy. Only difference was John went at the young age of 16.”
And Chrissy had previously opened up about the criticism she constantly receives online, admitting it gets especially tough when it relates to her young daughter.
She shared: “I can see things coming a mile away. I know that when I post something, if she’s in a car seat, I’ve got to be ready for the million people telling me she’s in the car seat wrong, even though she’s in there correctly.
At this point, I know what they’re going to say before they say it. If I’m holding her while I’m cooking, or if I’m holding her within 10 feet of a stove top, I’ve kind of just come to expect it.”
