Eva Longoria married Jose ‘Pepe’ Baston earlier this year in Mexico, and she claims to be the “luckiest human being” as a result.

The star praised the 48-year-old TV boss for truly understanding her, describing how they are equals in acknowledging each other’s dreams.

She told Latina magazine: “I feel like I’m the luckiest human being in the world, and he feels that he’s the luckiest and that’s a beautiful thing.”

And the star says everyone in the family gets along due to their mutual respect and ability to communicate.

“We have so much respect for each other’s dreams and ambitions, for our families and our life goals together. I never felt I was partnered with an equal until I met him.”

The Desperate Housewives actress is looking forward to starting a family, but isn’t rushing into it as she’s still enjoying the married life exclusively.

She added: “If it is on the horizon for us, then great, but we are just enjoying each other now.”

Eva was previously married to actor Tyler Christopher until their split in 2005, followed by NBA star Tony Parker until 2011. She firmly believes that these experiences have only made her current marriage stronger.

She previously shared: “I think every relationship is a path to where you are today. Every wrong turn led you to the spot where you are, so it wasn’t necessarily the wrong turn at the time.

I wouldn’t change anything – never. Pepe and I are soul mates – I don’t even know how to explain it, because it’s like we’re two different sides of the same coin.”
