Kim Cattrall – who has had various unsuccessful relationships in her past – admits she is happy with many of her life choices. This includes the decision not to have children and the star doesn’t care if she is judged by society.

Firmly believing she has made all the right choices, Cattrall proudly explained to Woman magazine: “I don’t have kids, I’m not married – those were certain aspirations I had and society has – and some people would say, ‘You must be so lonely’ and others would say, ‘Good for her.’

But I’m happy with the decisions I made. I realised I wouldn’t be doing the child I had any favours or the husband that I did have any favours. But I didn’t make these decisions willy-nilly. I really thought about them and, ultimately, I knew that they were right.”

However, she still carries a maternal instinct despite not having children, as she enjoys mentoring and assisting young people.

The actress stated: “Just because you don’t have children doesn’t mean you don’t have a maternal instinct.

I have a lot of young people that I mentor and help. They get something out of it, I hope, and I get a tremendous amount out of it. I love them.”

And she is always happy to see younger generations strive for a successful career while also pursuing their personal goals, adding: They’re so brave to continue to be in the workforce as young women and still want to find a mate and have children – in some ways I’m so relieved that those decisions are out of my hands and I can just go about the life I have chosen.”
