The two prepare for their first child together
Jonathan Rhys Meyers and his partner Mara Lane are expecting their first child, and though the due date is still unknown, some speculate she will give birth within the next couple of weeks.
Taking to her Instagram account, the actress published an image of her growing bump as she stood next to a man dressed as Santa Claus. The photo contained the caption, “#IncomingPackage best present. #ThankYouLord #SantaBelly”
Once news of her pregnancy became public, the star went on to reveal she has spent the last several months wearing a very specific “pregnancy dress” while praising recycled clothing.
She shared: “My official pregnancy dress. I have worn this 1-2x a week every week for past 5 months. It was 3 euros in a charity shop in Ireland I love #recycled clothes. #Recycledclothes #antislavery #recycledclothing over fast fashion any day for me T on the other hand … #megaprincess owns collars and leashes more than I am embarrassed to say #fathersdogter.”
And despite the baby still being inside her, it appears as though the little one is already establishing some ground rules for mommy.
She revealed to have missed out on her favorite foods, adding: “Has not let me eat much meat entire pregnancy either … has me thinking about things I’d rather live in ignorance to. #speciesism waat just stap angel alien baby about to rock my world I already know #thankful for my soon to be best teacher and friend”
Mara and Jonathan began dating in 2013 and reportedly got engaged the following year, although neither of them have confirmed it. However, the actor was previously seen wearing a gold band on his ring finger, leading many to speculate about marriage.
