Mariah Carey – who has five-year-old twins with ex-husband Nick Cannon – has dealt with fame for a number of years now. However, she admitted that the occasional privacy would be nice and she’d love to be invisible for a day in hopes of enjoying the beach without public pressure.

She revealed to Britain’s Elle magazine: “If I could be invisible for a day, I would hang out on the beach and go swimming. I’d be happy because I wouldn’t feel like I was being critiqued.”

And Mariah confessed to have a special bond with felines, so much that she feels mostly like a tigress.

She added: “Sometimes my spirit animal is a kitten and sometimes it’s a really big angry cat that runs fast and fights. I’d say I’m mostly a tigress.”

The star once considered being a make-up artist during her younger years. Although she went to beauty school as an alternative option, the singer was ultimately more driven to succeed in the music industry.

“When I was younger I wanted to be a make-up artist so I went to beauty school – it was going to be my thing to fall back on if music didn’t work out.

But in the end I didn’t have that mentality – I put my all into making sure music happened,” she explained.

Speaking of make-up, Mariah avoids the use of mascara as it runs down her face while performing: “I don’t wear mascara because when I sing it drips down my face and that’s not a pretty sight. When I’m on stage I’ll wear false lashes for impact.”
