Mariah Carey is reportedly falling deeply for dancer Bryan Tanaka and the two are heading toward a “proper relationship” after spending the holidays together.

A source revealed to Entertainment Tonight: “They’re in a proper relationship now. She’s really into Bryan.

He’s with her 24/7. He’s a nice guy. They weren’t together when she broke up with James.”

And the two also exchanged plenty of presents during the festive period, with Bryan surprising the artist with expensive jewelry.

The news comes after another source reiterated just how much she likes him, taking note of how well he gets along with her children Moroccan and Monroe.

“She’s into him now. He gets along really well with her twins, Moroccan and Monroe.

She bought him lavish designer Christmas gifts from the Aspen boutiques. They walk around holding each other’s hands and are always very affectionate. [They’re] always smooching.”

Meanwhile, ex-husband Nick Cannon – the father of her children – had a less fortunate festive period after being hospitalized over Lupus-related complications.

He recently posted an image of himself at the Los Angeles’ Cedars-Sinai Hospital, adding: “For all who have been trying to contact me the last few days this is where I’ve been. And I will be in the Hospital through Christmas.

All good though, Doctors say I will be back to normal before the New Year. #LupusSucks #ncredible #warrior.”

Thankfully things are looking up for the television presenter, as he later posted a video of condition.

He shared: “Hey, I got so much love for ya’ll. Thank you so much. I’m still in this hospital, but I’m about to get up out of here for real, and I’m letting you know, we’re about to take it to a whole new level. I’ve just been sitting here reflecting, and I can’t sit here dormant no more!”
