An incredible claim making the rounds on the Internet suggests that NASA is doing something pretty outrageous on the Red Planet.
A lot of conspiracy theories have circulated on the Internet in recent years, but the latest one may take the cake, and it was made on a show that interviewed President Trump just a few months ago. Alex Jones, the infamous conspiracy theorist, interviewed a man on Infowars who claimed that NASA was kidnapping children and sending them to be slaves on an existing colony on Mars.
Not only did Jones not disagree with the man, but he even added that he knows for a fact that there are aliens being experimented on here on Earth. And this coming from a man who has the ear of President Trump and even once interviewed him on his show when he was a candidate.
Jones was interviewing a man named Robert David Steele, who claims that he believes that a colony already exists on Mars and has existed for decades, and that NASA has used this incredible accomplishment not for scientific research, but to create a child sex slave colony. Of course, he kind of shoots down his own argument by noting that it takes 20 years for the children to get to the colony, at which point they would no longer be children.
Steele casually made the outrageous claim as the two discussed the victims of child sex crimes, which has become an obsession for the far right wing who believe that the Democratic Party is heavily involved in such activities.
Guy Webster, who is a spokesman for NASA, even had to deny the rumor when the Daily Beast asked him about it.
“There are no humans on Mars,” he said. “There are active rovers on Mars. There was a rumor going around last week that there weren’t. There are, but there are no humans.”
Jones has millions of fans, and his radio show airs on 118 stations nationwide. His website boasts up to 5 million pageviews per month, and 2 million people subscribe to his YouTube channel.
After Steele made the claim, Jones went on another crazy tangent, noting that he knows the government has created “thousands of different types of chimeras that are alien lifeforms on this Earth now.”
Jones has promoted other ridiculous conspiracy theories, including the belief that the 2012 Sandy Hook massacre, in which 20 children and six adults were gunned down, was a false flag operation and the victims were actors and not actually dead. He has also suggested that the United States was behind the terror attacks on Sept. 11, 2001, and that Hillary Clinton runs a child sex ring out of the basement of a D.C. pizza joint that doesn’t have a basement.
