Some bizarre sculptures and artifacts found in Mexico have caused rampant speculation by Internet conspiracy theorists.
As we reported recently, some artifacts were found in Mexico that appeared to strongly resemble popular culture depictions of aliens. But it is a random video that discusses these artifacts that really turned the incident into a frenzy among Internet alien conspiracy theorists.
The video, created by YouTuber UFO mania, which is an account linked to a lot of conspiracy theory videos, shows some strange sculptures and artifacts believed to be 5,000 years old. They harge large eyes and elongated heads, much like they have been portrayed in Hollywood movies, which has gotten those craving evidence of extraterrestrial beings excited. That video is embedded at the bottom of this post.
Conspiracy theorists believe that either aliens made these sculptures or that humans who encountered them thousands of years ago carved them. The video has so far received more than 60,000 views.
“Many will know the Klaus Dona Artefacts,” reads the video description. “There are Tons more where they came from. More and more locals and farmers are showing their private Artefacts. Fortunately they did not give their Artefacts to the Smithsonian Institute and the like for further Analysis.”
Many commenters on the video were naturally quite skeptical that this is a smoking gun of evidence for aliens.
“If it looks to good to be true, it’s probably not. The fact that they wouldn’t submit them for testing doesn’t help either,” wrote alien hunter in the comments.
However, many were intrigued by the video.
“Thanks for upload! Haven’t seen these artifacts before, but none of this surprises me. There’s a lot more to come,” wrote Ken Rik.
“Too bad the official authorities can’t be trusted with these finds,” wrote Nelio Anderson. “It is disgusting how the scientific community refuses to look at any evidence that contradicts the established theory. They claim to be scientists but based on their notorious record of making out of place artifacts vanish it is clear that there is a political agenda present.”
