As we reported recently, an explosive new video has emerged out of the state of Baja California in Mexico that appears to show a UFO of some sort flying near a roadway. It has certainly taken the Internet by storm, and once again it is prompting conspiracy theorists and believers in aliens to trumpet this as yet more evidence that we are not alone. But are these sightings evidence of aliens, or are they just normal phenomena we mistake for something else?

The video, which is embedded below, was shot by a woman driving in Mexico, who was able to pull out her phone in time to capture the vertical, tubular object and its strange motions. This prompted many prominent UFO experts, including Pedro Ramirez, to speculate that this was a sign that aliens are concerned about our increasing rate of rocket launches.

But most experts dismiss these UFOs as explained away by normal phenomenon, and they argue it is way too big of a leap to claim the existence of aliens based on a short, grainy video that does not show much.
